Reviews from Amazon:

A Delightful Children’s Book!
A delightful little children’s book with beautiful little paintings of a young boy, Tuttemui, on adventures on a lake with the peapod he took without asking because of his adventurous soul. He met and talked to the fish and bug, and while playing with the boat, he lost his hat in the water. It floated! Then shoes and socks came off. And the boat slipped out, leaving the boy to stand on a rock. One of his brothers, noticing the peapod was missing, went with a boat to get his little brother. Very delightful for a young reader to be read to.

A story of boyhood adventure
Since this is a translation of a Finnish story, I had not heard it before. What fun Tuttemui had! The story beautifully captures a 4-year-old's sense of adventure, and the illustrations are perfect. Definitely a book my son will enjoy many times.
- Rachel

Wish it was longer
Rather than being a modern action-driven children’s book, it is best understood as a classic European literary fairy tale or child-centered story: gentle, imaginative, reflective, and designed to entertain while quietly teaching values.
